JUMP House
To accomplish the housing repairs and ramp-building program, JUMP has been aided by the labors of volunteers from around Johnstown. In working side-by-side with some of these volunteers, we discovered a need for an intermediate living arrangement between halfway houses and normal communal living. As a result, the JUMP house at 240 Vine Street, Johnstown was conceived and is being brought to fruition. JUMP acquired the house and is completing its conversion into two independent living units. These two units will house six (6) men, one (1) resident manager and 5 men who will each live there four or five months. This will allow the five men time to get a job and begin establishing normal communal living before moving on with their lives.
